If you have started any type of New Year’s Resolution, you know the first month typically goes well, but the next month you start to slow down and not see as much progress. So, as a question to you, what advice would you give to somebody that just started social media last month?
My advice is patience. It takes time to build a following. As you get more comfortable with Facebook, Twitter and the many other social media tools out there, make sure you are taking time to listening to what others are saying. Learn from others to see, what is working from them, even ask them questions. You can learn a great deal from them. Even though, I have been using Twitter and Facebook for over a year, I still feel like a “newbie” and enjoy learning from others.
